Closely related to Riley's screenprint Start of 2000, Fold is a tightly arranged grouping of only four colours in the cascading leaf format that has preoccupied the artist since the 1990s. One of the smallest of her colour screenprints, Fold has a calm rhythm which engages the viewer and presents the picture plane as apparently several layers deep.
