Flower
Otto Piene
This sculpture was created on the occasion Otto Piene's first retrospective in the Museum am Ostwall, Dortmund, 1967, titled "Fire, Flower, Power". Three similar light-barrels were exhibited in a single room each, according to their unique perforations, were individually titled "Fire", "Flower" and "Power". After the retrospective, the objects were separated and they now form three independent sculptures.
