On a Clear Day (#03)

Agnes Martin

Between 1967 and 1973, Agnes Martin made a single body of work, the series of 30 screenprints entitled On a Clear Day. These are the only prints she ever made.

This example presented as originally exhibited by The Pace Gallery in 1973, in original brushed aluminium frame and mounted in a window mat of white Schoeller Parole paper, retaining the original labels to frame. As directed by the artist, the signature and numbering on the print are intentionally obscured by the window mat.

For an image of a full sheet with signature and numbering from the same edition, see On a Clear Day (#11).
