The Portfolio 'For John Constable' was made as a tribute to John Constable on the occasion of the bi-centenary of his birth in 1976. It comprises of a further eighteen prints, all pf which were made in 1976.

Signed and dated 76 in pencil, lower right.

Numbered in pencil lower left.

Edition of 100, with 21 artist's proofs, an unrecorded number of printer's proofs and 1 B.A.T.
