This exhibition presents the work of a selected group of rising photographic stars from a generation of highly conceptual photographers which is emerging from the Hochschule fur Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig.

Under the guidance of tutor Timm Rautert these artists, who are working with traditional and digital media, explore photography in the broadest sense pushing the boundaries of technique and imagery.

Unified as a group the Leipzig photographers can be identified by their meticulous approach to the construction of each image or series and the immaculate presentation of each work.
