A group show of contemporary painters from Ireland concerned with developments within the abstract tradition.
With the current international resurgence of interest in painting, and a greater inclusivity towards Irish culture within the global community as a whole, Archeus Fine Art will be exhibiting a group show of contemporary painters from Ireland in May 2004. This exhibition will affirm the continuing relationship with Irish painting long established at Archeus. Bringing together a group of artists spanning some 30 years in age, from well-established and widely exhibited artists to recent graduates. Providing an all-encompassing survey of current trends in Irish contemporary painting, the show will aim to make links with recent Irish art history, explore current practice and find developments that will shape the future.
